Provo College Nursing "Pass Rate" Above the National Norm
Utah State Board of Nursing Reports Registered Nursing Graduate 94.7% Pass Rate
May 12, 2010 - Provo, Utah | Provo College, providing degree, certification and diploma programs in Utah, today announced that the 2009 graduating class completed the National Council Licensure Examination for Registered Nurses (NCLEX-RN) with a 94.7% first-time pass rate. The Utah State Board of Nursing reports that the NCLEX national average first-time pass rate for registered nurses is 88.4%.
"I'm very pleased with our test scores and with the success of our new nursing graduates," said Gordon Peters, Provo College President. "Our community can be confident about the quality of care Provo College nursing graduates provide in our hospitals, doctor's offices and clinics."
